Sinister Suri Lace $30
Soft and fluffy as a cloud, this blend has a pronounced halo that is known to shed a bit. Hold this double with another base to create a dreamy effect for a sweater or accessory, or hold it on it's own for a light as air top, sweater, or scarf.

Slithering SW/S Lace $36 (luxury base)
This base is lovely on its own for airy and drapey accessories. Alternatively, hold multiple strands of this together in as many colors as you'd like for a fun marled effect, or hold it with another base to create a fun texture with your marling. The silk content gives durability and a luxurious sheen to your finished piece.

Shocking SW/N Sock $30
The nylon content gives more durability and stretch/memory to these bases, making them great for socks, beanies, and tighter fitting garments. Any project that needs some extra stretch/memory or durability will benefit from the addition of nylon or silk. Superwash wool has been treated with chemicals to remove or seal the tiny scales in the wool. This gives the fabric more durability and strength, and will help to prevent felting. You can machine wash items made with superwash wool without the fear of them shrinking or felting, although it is always best to hand wash your handmade items.

Nightshade NSW Fingering $30
Non-Superwash yarn has not been treated with the same chemicals that Superwash yarn has. This natural yarn option is a lovely alternative for your projects, but please note that non-superwash yarns cannot be machine washed and they need extra care to prevent felting. The sticky nature of the tiny scales that remain in the wool of non-superwash yarn is beneficial in your projects in gripping the yarn to itself, but this can also lead to felting. The high micron count of these bases gives a next to skin softness in your fabric.

Witchy Woolen Fingering $30
Woolen spun yarns are processed differently than worsted spun yarns (all other bases that I carry are worsted spun unless otherwise named). Whereas yarns that are worsted spun contain fibers that are combed before being spun, woolen spun yarns are created with fibers that have not been combed. This lends to a lofty, airy, and plump final result. The resulting yarn is much less dense, creating a lightweight and airy fabric when worked up. The little pockets of air within the plies help hold warm air close to your body, without being bulky. *Please also see Nightshade NSW for information about non-superwash wool.

This blend is best for drapey accessories and loose fitting garments. Your finished makes will have the most divine drape when made with this blend! Not recommended for items that need stretch or memory, such as socks, beanies, or tight fitting garments.

Cobweb Cotton Worsted $32 (luxury base)
This is a lovely and unique blend that I'm really excited to offer! A halo of soft, non-superwash merino wool fills a chainette core of Pima cotton. The naturally cream colored cotton core repels the dyes, while the merino halo soaks it all up, creating a multi-dimensional and ethereal result. Use this base held on its own for an airy effect in your finished piece. The stitch definition of this yarn is excellent for cables, or with a loose gauge it can create stunning lacework. My personal favorite use is for squishy and soft sweaters with cables!
